Morphology
Large perennial herb from a woody base. Stems glabrous or glaucous. Leaves large, petiolate, some of them pinnatified or trilobed. Disk yellow to gray; rays yellow, drooping; pappus short, toothed.
Notes
Flowers mid July to early November
Wetland indicator: Facultative Wetland +
Blooms later than most other members of this genus. The plant shown here isn't quite there yet.
