Wetland indicator: FAC

Euthamia graminifolia is similar but has relatively wider leaves (3-12 mm) with three well-developed primary veins and often one or two additional pairs of fainter lateral ones. It also has relatively broad flower heads each containing 20-35+ flowers. Both species have gland-dotted leaves but in E. graminifolia the glands are usually sparse and obscure while in E. caroliniana they are more prominent and abundant.
